Solar Group are delighted to announce that we will be reopening some of our services to the public from Tuesday 12th May. We will reopen initially on a reduced service basis, offering our home visit measure & quote and installation facilities only as our showrooms are unable to reopen under the Government guidelines.

In order to manage our return more effectively, we will perform all of our internal operations through our Bridgend branch initially, but our home visit service will remain unaffected wherever you are geographically.

As a result of the new social distancing measures, we are operating on a reduced staff basis initially within our premises to ensure that we are fully compliant with the new measures and to ensure staff safety. We are very conscious that we have many customers with outstanding orders that would like their products installed or measured and quoted as quickly as possible. Please rest assured we will do our very best to arrange appointments accordingly, but we would greatly appreciate your patience throughout this process.

The new Government guidelines on social distancing will change our operating procedures both within our premises and in our customers homes. We will be adhering to the 2 metres distancing guidelines kept between our staff and our customers at all times.

Currently, we would like to make our customers aware that there is no mandated PPE requirement for our industry to operate in customers’ homes. However, we have equipped our staff with full PPE should you wish for them to use it. We will also be asking a few safety questions to our customers over the phone when arranging your appointments.
