A Colour-Matched Commercial Awning for a Cardiff Pub
Solar installed a large commercial awning at the Robin Hood in Canton. Working with CP Construction, the team fixed the awning to a re-rendered parapet wall to create a practical new feature across the front of the pub.

How the Project Came Together
Protected Cassette System
A fully cassetted Weinor awning was selected to protect the fabric and mechanism in a busy wall-mounted commercial setting.
A Large, Flexible Outdoor Area
The awning spans more than 10 metres with a 3.5 metre projection, creating shade for drinks, dining and a sheltered customer area.
Lighting and Weather Control
Integrated radio-controlled LED lighting extends use into the evening, while Somfy RTS controls and wind sensors provide simple operation and automatic protection.
